Vomit Cleanup in San Diego

A full vomit removal is $200. That covers the whole job described below, not a quick wipe-down. If it happened at 1am and you need the car back on the road tonight, after-hours immediate service is $200 extra. We are mobile, so we come to you rather than you driving a car in that condition across town.

We start with a pre-wash to lift everything sitting on the surface, then treat the area with an enzymatic cleaner. Enzymes break down the proteins in vomit rather than just covering them, which is the part that actually stops the smell coming back in a hot car three days later.

A foaming shampoo goes into the carpet, seat fabric and any trim that got hit, and we scrub it in by hand. Vomit does not sit on top of upholstery, it soaks through the fabric into the foam underneath, so the scrubbing has to work it back up out of the padding.

Hot water is injected into the fabric and pulled straight back out with everything it loosened. We repeat that pass until the water coming out of the extractor runs clear. That is the actual finish line, not a set number of passes, and it is what separates this from a shampoo and a prayer.

High-temperature steam goes over everything the mess touched, including the seams and crevices you cannot reach with a brush. Then an ozone treatment neutralizes what is left in the air and in the vents, which is usually the part drivers care about most, because a car that still smells is a car you cannot take passengers in.

Both Uber and Lyft can reimburse a cleaning fee, but they want proof: photos of the mess and a receipt from whoever cleaned it. As soon as we finish we send you a PDF invoice itemizing every service performed, and we take before and after photos while we work, so you can file the claim the same night with everything they ask for. How much they approve is their call, not ours, and it may not cover the full cost.
