What we coat, and what the prep involves

A coating is only as good as the surface underneath it, so the prep is most of the work. Paint gets a full exterior detail, an acid pre-wash, foam and degrease, then clay bar and iron decontamination to strip out the embedded grit and brake dust, followed by machine polish. Only then does the coating go on. Skipping any of that seals the defects in permanently.

Paint ceramic coating is $300 for a coupe or convertible, $400 sedan or hatchback, $500 crossover or 5-seat SUV, and $600 for a truck or 7-seat SUV. If you are already booking a one-step polishing service, adding the coating to it costs $200, $250, $300 and $350 across those same four sizes.

Wheels are $200, all windows and mirrors $100, and exterior plastic trim $50. Wheels and trim are worth doing at the same time as the paint, because they are the surfaces that go dull and chalky first.

Before Your Detailer Leaves

When your service is finished, please walk around your vehicle from top to bottom and point out anything that doesn't look right or that you're not happy with. Your detailer will gladly take care of it on the spot until you get the result you expected.

We can't come back after the appointment to touch up small details. The extra trip costs time and fuel and pushes back other customers' appointments, so everything needs to be addressed before we leave.

The service time listed is how long you should plan to be without your vehicle. It isn't the number of labor hours. We charge for the service and the result, not by the hour.
